We have already learned that all singular forms of "congiuntivo presente" are identical. Take a look below at the forms of "fare" and "andare":

Here are the plural forms. We learned that the forms for "noi" are identical to those in the present tense "indicativo presente":

• Esco con voi a cena, a meno che voi non andiate al fast food.

  I'm coming out for dinner with you, provided that you don't go to a fast food restaurant.

• Penso che voi non abbiate una dieta sana e che non facciate abbastanza esercizio.

  I think that you don't have a healthy diet and you don't exercise enough.

• Se ti fa male un ginocchio, è meglio che tu non vada a correre.

  “Espressioni impersonali” are fixed expressions and never change. However, the verb in the “congiuntivo” that follows does change according to who’s doing the action.

  È importante che Lei faccia sport regolarmente  (It's important that you do sport regularly.)

  È importante che voi facciate una passeggiata ogni giorno.  (It's important that you go for a walk every day.)

  • È necessario che loro vadano dal medico il prima possibile.

    It's necessary that they go to the doctor as soon as possible.
